Demographic changes in Lexington have created a rich and varied multicultural environment for our students. Our schools must work toward finding the best ways to serve all students and help to promote more cultural understanding. As a Chinese-American who was born and educated in the United States, Eileen can bring a unique perspective to the School Committee. With both personal insight into Asian culture and thorough knowledge of American school systems, Eileen is able to bring an understanding from many different perspectives which could be beneficial to the school system.
If elected to the School Committee, Eileen would aim to serve the interests and needs of all students in the Lexington schools.
